Who wears 'jumpers' anymore?

haha...It's all the rage now, I've seen these cute little tank top converted to dress at Nordstorms before.

But they kind of remind me of those school uniform jumpers you'd have to wear with the constricting collar neck shirts and horrible polyster material.

Some how, some way they are back in action (well available to purchase that is) and I actually think they are quite adorable! Dontchathink?

Mines from the GAP (no way!) and totally on sale ($30) hence the reason why I caved in and bought one for myself!

So I've been trying to mix and match a little more...

and YES not spend anything after my recent back to school spree....

You've probaby seen this strapless dress before, and the cute flower scarf and I'm sure I wore that belt last week...but how about putting my favorite purchaes together?
I wore this at work and everyone asked if I just bought it? haha...Seeeee it can totally change an outfit by mix and matching...

Scarfs and dresses...LOVE it!

So I'm lovin this gap flower scarf i just recently purchased and because it goes with just about everything....

Case in point: What to wear with a strapless dress? Jewelry yes. but what about something more fun...

Like a Scarf!! Brilliant.
Or what about a smaller thiner scarf...

Back to school shopping...

yay! I love an excuse to go shopping...but technically if I'm not a student anymore does this even apply?

Well actually probably most certainly it does not grant the ability to spend an outrageous load of money on new duds, but hey I can't help it when there is so much cute stuff on display for the fall.

So I caved in (could you guess?) and did a little shopping this weekend on my own.

Of my top selections purchased during this crazy shopping trip: Urban Outfitters' black flats with gold chain on the front ($38) for chic commuter shoes to work, a navy blue and white flowered scarf at the Gap ($18) and these orange/red sweater with zippers on the sleeves ($50) also from Urban. Also--a trend I am loving...the shrunked men's tuxedo jacket to be paired with jeans, etc...Can't wait to wear that, now if only the heat would go away!
